We are an India (Mumbai) based software company engaged in the development of rich desktop application products in the area of PIM (Personal Information Management) for use worldwide. 

Our products aim to enhance the productivity of a computer user, and improve the way he works, learns, or seeks entertainment.

Product Offering:

Our flagship product is YO PEDIA; a Windows based application (Mac and Linux to follow) that helps a computer user manage INFORMATION OVERLOAD. With YO PEDIA, one can do everything he/she does on the internet and the computer through one convenient window.

Our product portfolio also includes YO SONGZ, YO JOKES and YO KNOWLEDGE.

Business Strategy – YO PEDIA:

YO PEDIA is an elegant layer between the OS and various programs. The product is designed to build on the strengths of popular programs like Microsoft Office, Open Office, IBM Lotus products, Yahoo mail, Gmail; search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing, social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. While it does not aim to displace any of these programs from the user’s computing experience, it offers a more convenient and unified interface to all of the above programs in an attempt to simplify the end user’s computing experience.

Growth Plans:

YO PEDIA:  Our roadmap includes the development of an Enterprise version as an immediate second step to the initial Home and Professional editions of YO PEDIA. The Enterprise edition will be able to leverage the core technology of YO PEDIA, and apply it in a corporate scenario. YO PEDIA design concepts applied in the context of Enterprise Search, Document Management, and Enterprise social networking present many exciting possibilities, and the opportunity to capitalize on a rapidly growing market for solutions like Microsoft SharePoint or light-weight alternatives like Google Sites/Wave.

Significant investment has already been made by current stakeholders for building the architecture and product development. Feedback from early adopters of YO PEDIA suggests that the initial Home and Professional editions are fairly mature. We now intend to present these editions to key influencers worldwide for feedback. Further investment in the company is proposed to take YO PEDIA to market and realize its potential as a game changer.

Analysts agree that the computing industry is set to witness a proliferation of computing devices of varying power, functionality, and form factor. There has been a significant amount of investment on the development of cloud based applications as well. While the benefits of these shifts in computing are evident, there is also the concern that the end user may be overwhelmed by the complexity and information overload. These trends transcend geography, culture and any socio-economic patterns.
